Lady Kaschke or Herr Gaga?
Once again “Herr Kaschke” spend some time in the laboratory to expand the known universe of science and sound, this time Lady Gaga has quickened his interest.
He jumped into his lab coat and started an experimental setup to rule the entire world of psychoacoustics. The synthetic revelation ended up in flashin neon lights and the blonde bombshell now sounds like one hell of a party durin an analogue swell.

Die Hintergrundgeschichte zu Herr Kaschkes Remix von MIA.’s aktueller Single “Mausen“: Unser Kater mit dem Namen Herr Blofeld wird seit dem 2.11.08 vermisst. Herr Blofeld ist eine 2007 geborene Europäische Kurzhaar-Katze mit schwarzem Fell, weisser Brust und weissen Pfoten. Herr Blofeld ist sehr sehr schlank, gechipt mit einem Transponder und registriert. Jedes mal wenn ich also die Zeile “…nein, die Katze lässt das mausen nicht…” höre, denke ich an den Kleinen und hoffe das jemand vor die Tür geht und sich fragt, was dieser Kater, der noch nie abends hier war, wohl hier macht…”.

These songs have not been previously released to the public, and K-OS is looking to you to help him define his newest musical creations. Theese songs will be featured on the companion album to Yes! scheduled to be distributed by Universal Music Canada in the spring of 2009.

So i decided to remix another K-OS track from the forthcomming album yes! in 2009. This time i get my hands on Zambony (Youtube Video with the original tune). i really like the original rap on this track. Go for a listen and vote for my submission to this contest.

Fanta4 - “Es kann nur einen geben”
Eins Live rief zum Fanta4 “Einfach sein” Remix Contest: Wie ihr wisst haben wir uns beteiligt, doch aus über 1000 Einsendungen landete der Entry “Die Zeitansage liest Einfach sein” von unserem “Herr Kaschke” unter den ersten 10 Plätzen. Doch wie ein alter Schotte gerne rief kann es nur einen geben und die Fanta4 wählten aus diesen 10 verbliebenen Remixen einen anderen wunderbaren Remix und kührten ihn zum ersten Platz den man auf www.einslive.de hören und bewundern kann. Fort Minor - Remember the Name (Kaschke & Mauer Remix)
the full story: a year ago i sat with a friend (N.Mauer who shouts on the Burnout Theme Song Re-Edit) in front of the letters on a webpage that said “remix remember the name by fort minor and win a technics 1200 turntable” while we pushed the game “space invaders” on my xbox1 console to the maximum.
so we decided to follow the rabbit and crank the drums through a guitaramp, record the noizes from the xbox1 space invaders arcade game (so its kinda gaming related i think with a mic in realtime while we did the remix… We dont wanted to do a remix you dont remember and we tryed to do something special…so we followed the lines of the song and just added some beatboxing and a distorted drumsset to the song and throwed everything away from the original except the acapella from mike shinoda, tak, ryu and so on…

five month’s later: Long forgotten that there was a contest - i received a phone call from machine shop recordings (Fort Minor Label) that we won since this day i can play my records on a technics turntable…
today: just listen to the song again and cause i cant sleep i decided to re-edit the original video and add some additional layers to it just to see if it fits to the remix…btw: we never expected to win this contest cause the quality of the other partitipants was really godlike!
